
Winner of the Spin+X Seedfund contest: NV-centre imaging and relaxometry for 2D magnets
A proposal to bring antiferromagnet imaging to the benchtop, co-authored and co-presented with Sebastian Westrich from RPTU, won the peer-voted TRR 173 Spin+X Seedfund contest with 14 of 24 votes (58 percent). The proposal builds a nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centre based imaging setup, since antiferromagnets normally have near-zero stray fields that require synchrotron access to see.
