
Mechanisms of Electrical Switching of Ultrathin CoO/Pt Bilayers
Used a synchrotron-based microscopy technique to show that electrically switching the magnetic state of an ultrathin antiferromagnetic oxide film involves two competing physical mechanisms, not just one.
Co-author, 4th of 12 authors. Aditya's contribution to this study was the PEEM (photoemission electron microscopy) measurements at the ALBA Synchrotron, used to resolve the coexisting thermomagnetoelastic and spin-orbit-torque switching mechanisms.
